It has been a great talk today that the Trophy given to the Indian team by ICC is not the original cricket world cup trophy and it is an exact replica of the world cup trophy.
On 2 April 2011 India won the ICC Cricket world cup 2011 by defeating Sri Lanka by 6 wickets and owned the trophy but the trophy provided their was fake and the exact replica has been given to the Indian cricket team.
There were no indentations at the bottom of the trophy which is there in the original world cup champions trophy.

But Basically, The ICC keeps the trophy with the inscriptions (first) while an exact replica without the inscriptions (right) is awarded to the winners.
